Caterina “Cat” Clayton is a software and data engineer, community advocate, and lifelong problem solver running to represent Missouri’s House District 105. An everyday Missourian, not a career politician, Cat is stepping forward at a time when many residents feel unheard and frustrated by division and political gamesmanship. She believes public service should be rooted in trust, transparency, and genuine listening.

Cat has built her career on cutting through complexity, collaborating across differences, and delivering practical, fact-based solutions. Her background in engineering has taught her that the best outcomes come from diverse voices working together, a principle she carries into her approach to public service.

Service runs deep in Cat’s family. With both her father and her husband having served in the military, she has seen firsthand the commitment required to protect the rights and freedoms Missourians rely on. That same spirit guides her work today.

Outside of her professional life, Cat is an improv comic and local artist who values the power of listening, teamwork, and building on shared ideas. She believes these skills are essential for effective leadership.

In Jefferson City, Cat will bring common sense, compassion, and respect back to the government. She is committed to lowering costs for families, strengthening public schools, protecting access to healthcare, supporting small businesses, and ensuring government works in the open. Above all, she is dedicated to making sure every resident of District 105 has the opportunity to build a secure and thriving future.
