Patrick Roath is a lawyer and democracy advocate running for U.S. Congress to bring new leadership to Massachusetts’ Eighth District. Patrick’s career has been defined by public service and advocacy. After graduating from college, he interned in the Obama-Biden White House and then worked as an aide to Governor Deval Patrick. In 2010, he represented America abroad as a Fulbright cultural ambassador, teaching English at an Islamic boarding school in rural Malaysia. Patrick played a key role in fights to pass automatic voter registration and roll out universal mail-in voting options, as well as the ongoing efforts to enact same day registration in Massachusetts.
