Biography
Luis Mata is a lifelong community advocate who is running for the state legislature to build a stronger Tennessee. Raised by a single mother who immigrated to Tennessee from Mexico, he learned early on the values of hard work, resilience, and unity. If elected, he’d be the first and only Latino state legislator in Tennessee.
