Katrina Manetta is a working-class organizer who was born and raised in Shelby Township. A graduate of Utica Community Schools and Oakland University, Katrina has deep roots in the community and a lifelong belief that you show up, do your part, and look out for your neighbors. Katrina has spent years organizing her neighbors, bringing new voices into civic life, and turning frustration into collective action. She created an activist group in Macomb County Michigan that grew from just five women in a coffee shop to over 1,600 active members who have taken real, sustained action in their community. Now, Katrina is running for the Michigan State House to put people ahead of powerful interests and make Michigan work better for working families.
